Paper, trash, twigs and other undesirable material will be removed from turf areas before mowing operations begin. Turf areas will be mowed at a height of 2 1/2" to 3" from April through November. Mowing frequency will be scheduled to ensure that not more than one-third of the grass blade is cut off at any given mowing. Our operators will utilize equipment best suited to your site and follow correct turf grass management practices to keep your turf at its most healthy state.
    Where appropriate, either weed-eater trimming or chemical herbicides will be used around fixed objects to keep a neatly trimmed appearance. Clippings will not be bagged unless specified, except in situations when they are heavy enough to harm the turf. Sidewalks and drives will be left in a neat, clean condition free of clippings.

    Shredded bark mulch will be applied in the spring to planting beds to maintain a 1 1/2" - 3" thickness. Planting beds containing ground covers such as English Ivy, Vinca, etc. will be mulched to make beds aesthetically pleasing, but not to a depth that would retard development.
